Compensation: Annual salary base $100K-$150K; Per diem and relocation provided
Job Summary:
The WWTP Project Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of wastewater treatment plant projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires extensive experience in civil construction for wastewater treatment plants.

Responsibilities:
Safety:
- Ensure overall job safety as per the safety manual for the particular job.
- Ensure that the jobsite meets all OSHA standards, including cleanliness.
- Ensure that everyone on the site follows all safety protocols, including AHAs and daily Tool Box Talks.
Project Management:
- Lead the planning and development of all project deliverables.
- Manage the budget, work plan, and all Project Management Procedures.
- Ensure project activities are thoroughly and properly planned.
- Develop and implement a project schedule that meets the goals of the owner.
- Coordinate all work with subcontractors and utility providers.
- Notify the Owner of any and all schedule impacts in accordance with Contract Documents.
Financial Management:
- Perform daily quantity reviews.
- Actively participate in monthly reviews of estimates and pending submissions for payment.
- Process all estimates on a timely basis.
- Prepare and submit change orders to the Owner.
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices.
- Perform accurate project financial forecasting related to revenue, costs, and profitability.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain all records and files in the field office.
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll and equipment information.
- Obtain and prepare Monthly Cost Estimates/Forecasts.
- Provide award-related submittals and follow-up information to clients and construction managers.
Client Interaction:
- Prepare for and attend all scope meetings with clients and construction managers.
- Prepare for and present value engineering and CPM schedules to clients and construction managers.
- Prepare and lead all formal presentations and final negotiations with clients and construction managers.
Supervision:
- Supervise and ensure that all tasks are carried out by the Project Team.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field with 7+ years of related experience.
- Significant experience in civil construction for wastewater treatment plants.
- Experience in heavy construction (site-work, roads, bridges, environmental, support of excavation, foundations, piles, sanitary sewers, or sewer wastewater treatment plants).
- Must be capable of meeting deadlines, self-motivated, detail-oriented; have above-average interpersonal skills and excellent follow-through capability.
- Verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment; able to accurately process written documents, perform duties in a timely manner, be highly organized, and communicate effectively with company, clients, and field personnel at all levels.
