Hays is seeking Process Engineers to support operations in the East Region. Our client specializes in optimizing and improving the design, operation, and performance of wastewater treatment systems, ensuring efficient and sustainable treatment while complying with environmental regulations.

Your new role

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing and improving the design, operation, and performance of wastewater treatment systems. You will work closely with engineering teams, operators, and clients to ensure the efficient and sustainable treatment of wastewater. Your responsibilities will include ensuring processes align with regulatory guidelines, preparing compliance reports, supporting environmental audits, and monitoring facility operations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Must have driver's license
• Minimum qualification: Engineer in Training (EIT).
• Background in Chemical or Environmental processes.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work on-site at any of the 14 Wastewater Resource Recovery Facilities in NYC, up to 5 days per week (BWT may entertain 3 days on-site).
• Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
