Traveling Construction Superintendent - Hospitality Projects
The Traveling Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities for hospitality projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires extensive travel to various project sites and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction planning to project closeout.
- Site Supervision: Manage daily on-site operations, including coordination of subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on hospitality projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively and stay at project sites for extended periods.
- Certifications: OSHA certification and other relevant construction certifications are a plus.
