Sr. Technical PM – Contract – Lake Buena Vista FL\ Hybrid– $75.00 - $85.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a Sr. Technical PM in Lake Buena Vista FL\ Hybrid.

Role Description

• Facilitate scope definition, cross-functional estimates and high-level planning workshops
• Ensure proactive scheduling of key deliverables, milestones and deliverable tasks
• Develop project plans and schedules with cross discipline functional leads
• Maintain release plans and align multiple environments to ensure appropriate promotion of stories and tasks
• Validate that scope can be completed within timeline and budget
• Estimate resource needs with help from functional leads
• Work with cross discipline team members to validate program and project assumptions
• Serve as primary liaison among multiple teams, including Product Management, Design, Technology, vendors and other key functional delivery teams (when appropriate)
• Communicate regular status updates to program and project executive leadership team on delivery progress, plan updates and budget spend and forecast
• Escalate key issues and risks to ensure timely resolution and mitigation
• Facilitate meetings ensuring that meeting goals are stated and achieved
• Prevent scope creep and facilitate change requests to ensure impacts to schedule or budget are approved and communicated
• Ensure proper program and project closure including retroactive/lessons learned, transition and hand-off to sustainment and operations support, and final financial reporting

Skills & Requirements

• Excellent communication skills – bringing multiple teams together
Setting candidate apart will have Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Management Systems experience with Previous experience with Blue Yonder/JDA/Red Prairie WMS, or similar large-scale warehousing solutions
• They still want to see strong PMs that are not supply chain / WMS
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in program and project management with an online retailer, ideally in e-commerce, supply chain, merchandising, or operations.
• 2-3 years Agile or Hybrid delivery experience
• Possesses extensive experience in the basics of project management: estimation, program and project planning, resource planning, risk management, change management, and release management
• Experience with modifying or extending a Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution
• Experienced in multiple full lifecycle software deliveries from business development and discovery to final software acceptance
• Experience in a matrixed responsibility organization working with multiple product managers and business analysts
• Must possess excellent business communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, and SharePoint
• Proactive and solution-oriented when managing issues
• Able to work under tight timetables and high pressure situations
• Demonstrated analysis/assessment capabilities
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to juggle, shift gears, and maintain a sense of humor
• Experience in the supply chain industry, specifically warehouse management systems, is preferred
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in program management in digital/technology projects.
• 5+ years of Agile or Hybrid delivery experience
• Experience using Smartsheet, MS Copilot
• Establish project financial forecasts including resource/labor plans and other expense plans
• Proven track record managing individual project budgets or budget roll-up of multiple projects
• Led teams with multiple discipline representation (including product management/strategy, technology, design, and analytics)
• Previous experience with Blue Yonder/JDA/Red Prairie WMS, or similar large-scale warehousing solutions
