Project Scope

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Planning Consultant to join our team for a 6-month hands-on consulting project. This role requires extensive experience in material planning, production planning, inventory analysis, and related SAP master data, as well as strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your mission

Material Planning:

· Analyze material consumption patterns using actuals data, manufacturing plans, and demand forecasts.

· Identify potential risks or bottlenecks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

· Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure timely availability of materials.

· Track open orders and expected delivery times to maintain supply continuity

Production Planning:

· Translate and consolidate US kits demand into regional production plans

· Initiate and maintain SAP pull process for kits shipping to US

· Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely production and delivery of kits.

Master Data Management:

· Maintain and update material master data parameters (e.g., min/max) related to demand planning and forecasting.

· Ensure accuracy and completeness of data inputs to support supply/demand planning activities.

· Collaborate with IT and other teams to develop and enhance data management processes.

Inventory Analysis:

· Monitor inventory metrics, including coverage, days of stock, accuracy, and rotation KPIs.

· Define Slow and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory and identify non-movers per month.

· Update and maintain inventory availability reports.
