Our client is seeking a Sr DOCSIS Network Engineer in Greenwood Village, CO.

Role Description
Plans and implements enterprise networks and related hardware and software. Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and identify bugs & defects. Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure. Tests and tunes devices and systems. Evaluate product and technical requirements to provide feedback to Product, Architecture, and other partner teams. Perform test plan development, documentation, evaluation, and execution. Establish and troubleshoot test network environments to facilitate device testing and qualification. Perform system-wide end-to-end integration and regression testing. Implements communications technologies (data or voice). Manages network services from planning phase through implementation. Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure are required. 7-10+ years of experience.

• Execute manual and/or automated test plans and test cases to validate functionality on network access systems.
• Coordinate and assist with lab support and administration both technically and logistically.
• Setup connectivity, configure, and execute tests cases within a testing lab environment.
• Produce written documentation for test plans and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot RF related issues during regression testing. Identify bugs and defects testing new hardware and firmware.

• 7-10+ years' experience
• Strong CMTS Experience
• Strong DOCSIS Experience
• Routing and Switching experience
• Lab Regression Testing
• Technical Documentation
• Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) experience
