Our client is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer for a remote opportunity.

The Senior Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer will support organizations in their effort to migrate into Microsoft 365 and or upgrade their existing 365 services. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform and services, proven service configuration and troubleshooting skills, as well as knowledge of on-prem Exchange and Active Directory services. The engineer will provide hands-on implementation tasks and support for Microsoft 365 migrations including design, architecture, configuration, migration best practices, and strategies to support operational KPIs. The engineer will support the Project Manager and Lead Engineers in gathering and analyzing requirements, solution design, and execution of the migration, while delivering high customer satisfaction. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong creative, communication, and collaboration skills. They will work very closely with end customers, Lead Cloud Engineers, and the Project Management Office (PMO) for all new implementations. The position will be a key factor in providing a great customer experience pre and post implementation. The engineer will be a technical escalation point for customers undergoing migrations who need assistance in their projects as well as support escalations needing additional assistance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for O365 tenant creation and takeovers, licensing changes and email security implementation
Introductory level implementation and maintenance involvement of complex Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange solutions.
Work with Peer and Sr Engineers on complex implementations.
Responsible for managing user access and accounts.
Hands on administration of Microsoft Office 365 cloud technologies, such as, Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Teams Audio Conferencing, Intune.
Continued self-lead training on O365 changes pertaining to Microsoft releases on each O365 product.
Develop, Maintain and update O365 governance documentation with product owners & Sr. Implementation Engineers.
Maintain PowerShell scripts used to manage/support the O365 environment for multiple apps- Azure, SharePoint, Groups within a central repository.
Partners with IT and other external workgroups for the integration of applications that support Office 365 solutions.
Assists staff with troubleshooting complex technical issues experienced by internal and external customers.
Provides technical support and maintains uptime as defined within the IT acceptable standards.
Addresses production issues experienced by O365 users.
Availability for On-Call and after hour migration tasks

Skills & Requirements

MUST HAVE SKILLS/MATCH TO:

1) Bachelors in a related field combined with 4++ years of relevant work experience. If they are lacking a Bachelors degree, they should have over 10+ years experience

2) They should have a proven level of experience with Exchange 2013,2016 and 2019 and Exchange Hybrid servers and a proven level of competence with Windows servers, Active Directory

3) Experience in migrating multiple business units into a single, Office 365 environment. . Please make sure resume reflects total migration experience

4) Administrative Experience with Microsoft Office 365’s Cloud suite including Office, Teams, SharePoint, Intune and OneDrive

5) Experience Implementing Microsoft AD, Azure AD connect, Azure AD

6) Experience Implementing Single sign on (SSO)

7) Working knowledge of troubleshooting and configuration Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and Exchange Hybrid servers, Exchange Online

8) Administrative and configuration knowledge of Active Directory

9 ) Hands on Setup and Configuration knowledge of Windows Server 2003 – 2019

10) Exchange Online Protection experience
