Your new role

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for Data Center Facilities, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with mission-critical requirements.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and potentially Revit for effective design and documentation.
  • Apply diversified knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices to a variety of assignments in related fields.
  • Make informed and independent decisions regarding engineering methods and techniques.
  • Consult with supervisors on critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters, seeking guidance as needed.
  • Develop test procedures and provide support during the commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Provide engineering solutions that incorporate life cycle cost analysis and energy efficiency considerations.
  • Evaluate existing facilities and systems relative to the as-built conditions which affect the design.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in designing mechanical systems for Data Center Facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Cooling Towers, Chillers, Glycol Systems, Air Cooled Systems, In-Row Cooling/Rear Door Heat Exchange, and other Mission Critical equipment.
  • Ability to integrate reliability and efficiency into mechanical system designs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering principles to diverse assignments.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to diverse audiences both orally and in writing.
  • Experience with advanced techniques and the ability to modify and extend theories, precepts, and practices in the field.
  • Capability to develop test procedures and support the commissioning of mechanical systems.
