Our client is seeking a Project Manager in Atlanta, GA.
Role Description
Job Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within deadlines and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cross-functional teams, working with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, resources, and budget. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Team Leadership:
Lead and manage cross-functional project teams. Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve project goals and overcome obstacles.
• Stakeholder Management:
Act as the main point of contact between business partners, stakeholders, and project teams. Maintain strong relationships and ensure clear and transparent communication.
• Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them. Monitor and manage changes and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Budget and Resource Management:
Oversee project budgets and allocate resources effectively. Track expenses, ensure cost control, and report on financial status regularly.
• Reporting and Documentation:
Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure all project documentation is maintained and accessible.
• Quality Control:
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed according to client specifications.
• Post-Project Review:
Conduct post-project evaluations to analyze project performance, identify areas of improvement, and capture lessons learned for future projects.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications (preferred).
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software preferably on MS Project and Rally.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality results.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience of working with multiple teams.
• Agile or Scrum experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
