Your new company

This firm is a long-standing client of ours that manages commercial projects in NYC. Commercial could mean corporate offices, private schools, healthcare clinics, veterinary offices, some street-level retail, etc. Even some multi-family residential (think building for a developer, not for Mr. & Mrs. So-and-So), and some luxury residential (yes, Mr. & Mrs. So-and-So!). The company has been itching to grow, but the trouble is finding the right people who care the same amount! Poised to grow to $10M in revenue this year, it is time to bring in a serious Project Manager!


Your new role

As a PM with this firm, you will work closely with the President, and with the office staff. You will be responsible for managing your project throughout its lifecycle. Since the company is smaller, there is no need to go to the Midtown, Manhattan office every day. You really only need to go there when you have meetings or need something specifc. Otherwise, the Owner is looking for someone who he can trust and share the rewards with. Aside from the work you will be given and assigned, if you ever manage to snag a client or bring in any work, this Owner is saying you WILL be rewarded.


What you'll need to succeed

  • 7+ years' construction experience in NYC

  • Experience working for commercial General Contractors in NYC

  • Experience managing projects in a lean team

  • Desire to help grow a business and take on additional responsibilities in the future
