Job Description
They are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of project controls for heavy civil utilities and power projects in New York City and five boroughs. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any deviations.
  • Implement cost control measures and track project budgets.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports.
  • Utilize project management software to enhance control processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project control, preferably in the heavy civil utilities and power sector.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • PMP or similar certificate is a plus.
