MEP Superintendent job: MEP Superintendent needed for projects in Raleigh, NC!

Hays are seeking an experienced and motivated MEP Superintendent to oversee commercial projects across Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Your new role

  • Manage all aspects of MEP systems on commercial construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Coordinate and supervise MEP subcontractors to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational challenges related to MEP systems.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and standards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 5 years of MEP experience in commercial construction projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their integration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with relevant local building codes and regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.
