Manager, Cyber Training & Awareness – Permanent – Dallas, TX (Remote or Hybrid) – $140,000 - $160,000.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Manager, Cyber Training & Awareness in Dallas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the development and execution of the Cybersecurity Awareness and Training program, including strategic planning, project execution, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Create and deliver educational security content (e.g., print/digital signage, newsletters, website, virtual/in-person training) across multiple platforms to ensure adherence to security best practices and policies, thereby reducing cybersecurity risks. Present to various audiences, including business-facing and front-line employees.
• Develop and implement annual, ad hoc, and role-specific training plans, as well as e-learning modules for employees and contractors.
• Manage the third-party security awareness and phishing platform, including simulated phishing exercises and other email-based tools.
• Collaborate with corporate and market communications teams, executives, compliance, privacy, legal, and other experts to create and execute awareness campaigns.
• Track and analyze key metrics related to training, awareness outreach, and phishing to measure the program's impact and effectiveness.
• Ensure the Security Awareness and Training program complies with industry regulations, standards, and requirements (e.g., HIPAA, NIST, ISO, SOX) and company guidelines.

Skills & Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of information risks and cybersecurity best practices related to phishing, social engineering, data protection, password management, and other cybersecurity threats to develop relevant training content and topics.
• Experience with content creation, e-learning, and phishing tools used to develop and deliver training/awareness content and phishing simulations.
• Proven success in project/product management, business, and data analysis.
• Ability to coordinate with project managers to assist with communications related to cyber project implementation and develop associated change management training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate and present to executive-level audiences and the broader workforce.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing the timely completion of program deliverables.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Commitment to providing quality service and responsiveness to business partners.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, as needed based on demand.
