Our client is seeking a Java Web Developer in Chicago, IL.
Role Description
We are looking for a talented Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain web applications using Java, SpringBoot, and ReactJS.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database management.
• Integrate and manage messaging systems using Kafka.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
Skills & Requirements
Must Haves:
• 5+ years’ experience as a Java Full Stack Developer
• Strong proficiency in Java and SpringBoot.
• Experience with ReactJS for front end development
• Proficient in PostgreSQL and database design.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with Kafka for messaging and streaming.
• Familiarity with AWS services and deployment.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
