Our client is seeking a IAM Engineer (SailPoint) for a remote opportunity.

Role Description

The IAM SailPoint Developer Lead is the subject matter expert (SME) in designing, developing solutions and accountable for providing day-to-day engineering, administration, and support of Identity Management services and project-based activities. This role will collaborate closely with other Engineers, Architects, Operation teams, and other technology-skilled experts. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities

Deliver modern Identity and Access Management integrations. Serve as subject matter expert and lead as it pertains to IGA (Identity Governance and Administration) technology, strategy, and integration execution.
Build identity lifecycle automation, RBAC, identity policies and reporting, password policies, separation of duties, least privilege, user provisioning, access certifications and approval workflows in SailPoint IdentityNow.
Develop and maintain reports on the health and performance of SailPoint IdentityNow, providing insights into system status and areas for improvement.
Lead on large projects for business units to provide IGA solutions as needed.
Develop and document standards, architecture, implementation procedures and operational runbooks.
Research and follow industry trends around IAM and provide recommendations that influence our strategic plans.
Provide detailed estimates and work breakdown of typical activities.
Maintain awareness of applicable recent technologies, processes, and competitive trends.
Oversee third party vendor technical work to ensure quality.
Train, mentor, direct, and validate the work of other engineers.
Able to work after-hours on-call support rotation to implement solutions, patching and deployment activities as needed.

Skills & Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills And Competencies

Ability to build java bean shell, workflow, JML, custom rule.
Deep knowledge of REST Web Services, SAML 2.0, OAuth, WS-Security, and other authentication/authorization protocols.
Strong understanding of IAM standards like SCIM, WS-Fed, SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth.
Must be very technical, well-rounded in the information security and Identity & Access Management space.
Able to apply technical and functional knowledge to deliver quality results.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to identifying the best option.
Ability to listen and gets clarification, as well as responds well to questions.
Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Able to follow instructions, responds to management direction, and takes responsibility for own actions.
Ability to approach others in a tactful manner, reacts well under pressure, and treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
Ability to self-manage, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Industry And Work Experience

10+ years in IT, cybersecurity, and IAM, with a focus in IAM combined required.
6+ years in SailPoint IAM engineering required.
Experience with Rest Web services, SAML 2.0, SailPoint Identity Now, OAuth, OpenID, WS-Security, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and other authentication/authorization protocols strongly preferred.
Financial industry experience preferred.

Academic

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field required
