Full-Stack Developer – Contract – Glendale, CA – $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Full-Stack Developer in Glendale, CA.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with fellow engineers to create essential services/APIs needed for diverse applications.
• Work with Lead Engineer to support the UI Implementation & co-ordinate with additional team for backend functionality
• Innovate & collaborate with the Content Security teams to provide Safe, Secure & Reliable applications for Digital Studios & Client.
• Troubleshoot Ongoing & Production Support issues and implement defect fixes.
• Work within an agile scrum process using Epics/User stories/Tasks.
• Provide transparency with the delays/challenges across the project to Leads

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ Years of Software Development experience within a large enterprise environment
• Hands on experience with AWS Serverless Technologies (Lambdas, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, Event bridge, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch)
• Experience inworking with a team to design customized solutions based on the evolving business needs
• Proficient in working with Open APIs, API Gateway
• Experience with React, Next JS, Node JS, TypeScript
• Experience with Material UI, Event Driven Architecture
• Database experience with Postgres or any other relational DB
• Security experience with SML, SSO, JWT
• Knowledge and experience using Source Control and CI tools (GitLab/GitHub), Terraform & Agile/Scrum

Methodologies
• Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in Media & Entertainment Industry
• Experience with Large Scale Transfer technologies
• Experience with post-production technologies in the media industry
• Education Requirement: Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
