We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Engineer to join a reputable general contractor in Fresno, CA working on the California High Speed Rail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing field operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your new role

• Review project plans and develop construction schedules in coordination with project-wide activities.
• Coordinate with Superintendent on any task required involving the project.
• Develop and assist with obtaining quotes and drafting contracts to meet project requirements.
• Provide field support services for submittals, RFIs, and requests for contract change orders.
• Monitor and participate daily in the field construction process.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate field measurements and as-built drawing records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in field engineering.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
• Experience being onsite and operating in the field.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
