Lead HR for North America within growing CRO

Your new company

Our client is a global Clinical Research Organization (CRO) with a presence in more than 20 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Their mission is to contribute to a healthier and safer world by accelerating the development and commercialization of innovative drugs and devices. They are looking for an Executive Director of HR for their US and Canada businesses.

Your new role

Reporting to the business head for Americas and global HR, you will manage day-to-day HR operations in North America and provide strategic leadership and direction to the HR department. This position will be involved in every aspect of HR including the organizational policy and compliance, talent management, succession planning, employee relations, performance and benefit review, compensation, etc. Additionally, this position will collaborate with other regional HR leads for alignment of the strategies and processes across the international organizations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field and preferably a professional certificate in HR.
  • At least 15 years of progressive HR experience with 10 at senior HR leadership level
  • Must have worked in a Life Sciences (CRO, pharma, biotech, etc.) industry or similar.
  • Proven experience setting HR strategies, looking at process improvement, and implementing global practices.
