Our client is a leading site works subcontractor who specializes in siteworks for commercial and residential projects. Due to internal growth, they are looking for an experienced estimator to join the team. The company self performs all aspects of site preparation including site clearing, excavating, grading, soil stabilization and demolition.

The company self performs all aspects of site preparation including site clearing, excavating, grading, soil stabilization and demolition.
Your new role
You will be solely responsible for preparing estimates and bids for demolition/earthwork construction projects. Your day-to-day duties will consist of preparing construction budgets, gathering quotes from vendors and subcontractors, negotiating pricing, resolving cost discrepancies and setting your daily priorities for your work schedule. You will be required to analyze information, develop budgets and make tough decisions.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience using estimating software as well as excellent technical skills. Your superior relationship skills will help you succeed in this position as you will be required to build and maintain vendor relationships. Strong computer knowledge and a high attention to detail is also necessary for this position. Heavy bid experience
