Our client is seeking a Enterprise Tools Administrator for a remote opportunity.
Role Description
Job Summary: The Enterprise Tools Administrator will be responsible for managing and integrating various enterprise tools and applications used across the company. This role requires a strong background in automation, scripting, and tool management, with a focus on ensuring seamless operation and integration of tools to support the company's IT infrastructure and operations.
On-Call: Currently, it is a team of 3, so every 3rd week this individual will be on-call. It is a rare occurrence that the individual will be needed after hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tool Management: Administer and manage enterprise tools such as GO Anywhere (job scheduler and SFTP tool), Thycotic (password manager), Oomnitz (inventory management tool), Docusign, OneLogin (SSO platform), and Intra ID (Azure SSO platform). Splunk, DataDog, Job Schedulers, SSO Tools, Logging Tools, SSL Certificate Managers, SFTP Servers, Inventory Management tools, Workflow Automation tools, Password Managers, and PagerDuty.
• Automation and Integration: Develop and implement automation workflows and integrations between various tools and applications using APIs, JSON payloads, and scripting languages (Python and PowerShell).
• Monitoring and Alerts: Create and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitoring solutions using Splunk and other monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of enterprise applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate new tools and applications, provide support, and ensure smooth operation of existing tools.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all tools, integrations, and automation workflows.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise tools and related integrations.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to develop innovative solutions.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Skills & Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on enterprise tools administration, automation, and integration.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation and integration tasks.
• Tool Expertise: Hands-on experience with enterprise tools such as GO Anywhere, Thycotic, Oomnitz, Docusign, OneLogin, and Intra ID.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Splunk for creating dashboards, alerts, and monitoring solutions.
• SSO Platforms: Knowledge of SSO platforms like OneLogin and Intra ID (Azure SSO).
• Automation Skills: Strong understanding of automation principles and experience with developing automation workflows.
Preferred Skills:
• Additional Tools: Experience with Datadog, PagerDuty, and other monitoring and alerting tools.
• Application Performance Monitoring: Knowledge of application performance monitoring and optimization.
• Azure: Familiarity with Azure and related services.
• WVD: Basic knowledge of Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) and its integration with enterprise tools.
• JSON: Proficiency in working with JSON for data exchange and integration tasks.
