HAYS Recruitment is working with an MEP firm that is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Energy Engineer to join their team in Andover, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a early-career professional looking to advance their career in the energy industry. They specialize in MEP design, energy efficiency, decarbonization, and utility infrastructure projects for commercial, higher education, industrial, healthcare, and utility clients.

Your new role

• Focus on retro-commissioning and ASHRAE level audits
• Work on large commercial, industrial, and municipal projects
• Work with clients to present findings in relation to energy savings
• Do energy modeling using eQuest or other energy calculation tools
• Monitor progress and performance on projects to ensure efficient production

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
• PE License or EIT certification preferred
• Depth of knowledge on Building and Energy Codes
• Strong knowledge of building controls and HVAC
• Ability to travel to client sites within New England and New York
