• Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, institutional, residential, and healthcare projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm.
• Perform calculations and analyzes related to electrical
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in compliance with industry standards, local codes (NEC, NFPA, etc.), and client requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, and clients to ensure electrical designs are integrated and meet project goals.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Conduct site visits for inspections and commissioning of electrical systems during the construction phase.
• Assist in project management tasks, including cost estimation, scheduling, and status reporting.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and electrical codes and standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical system design, preferably in commercial, institutional, and/or healthcare sectors.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency backup systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in team settings.
