Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in New Jersey.

Role Description

Job Overview: This role will be to assist IT Site Services with their depot operations at the Lawrenceville site. The depot operations provide IT support and devices to our Field Sales Force. Includes processing orders for new hires, incidents, & retrievals. Keeping track of inventory and inventory management by keeping records updated within the Asset database. Using FedEx portal to process shipping labels, unpacking, and packing boxes. Provide tier1/tier2 remote support via teams or phone.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Process ServiceNow orders for new hires, incidents, and device retrievals for the US Commercial field sales organization.
• Perform device staging, technical troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all supported assets in stock.
• Provide IT support for hardware and software issues, by working directly with clients as well as collaborating closely with the
IT Service Desk.
• Manage the return and distribution of IT devices.
• Create and maintain accurate knowledge base articles related to the depot operations.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:
• IT Technical School degree or certification
• 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support for desktops, laptops, or iPad devices.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Windows, and Mac preferred.
• Communication: The ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively.
• Inventory management: The ability to track, organize, and optimize stock levels and locations.
• Organizational and time management skills: The ability to lead, direct, and coordinate operations.
