Job Description:

Position Overview:
The Construction Proposal Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and managing construction proposals for new projects. This individual will work closely with the Vice President and project teams to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of bid proposals and assist with various administrative and office-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write comprehensive construction proposals for new projects.
  • Collaborate with the VP and project teams to gather necessary information for bid proposals.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of bid documents.
  • Maintain and update proposal templates and marketing materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential projects and clients.
  • Support the VP and project teams with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing project documentation.
  • Ensure all proposals and marketing materials align with company standards and branding.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on proposal strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction writing bid proposals.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Construction degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction industry standards and practices.
