Our client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer in Atlanta, GA.

Role Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Atlanta. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the company's financial health and growth. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and provide accurate financial forecasts.
Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including private equity partners.
Audit and Compliance: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, implementing measures to mitigate them.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors and private equity partners, providing regular updates on financial performance.
Operational Efficiency: Optimize financial operations and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA required.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role as a CFO.
Audit Experience: Proven experience in managing audits and ensuring compliance.
Private Equity Experience: Experience working with private equity firms and understanding their requirements.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and systems, including NetSuite.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Atlanta, GA, five days a week.

Industry Experience: Experience in healthcare or related industries.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide long-term financial guidance.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound financial decisions.
