Hays Facilities Management are partnered with leading cultural institution to hire a Building Engineer in Manhattan.

Your new role

The job duties for the Building Engineer will include, among others:

- Operate and maintain HVAC systems equipment

- Develop and maintain Preventative Maintenance schedules

- Conduct walkthroughs and work with site maintainers on general maintenance activities

- Perform repairs, as needed, reporting to the Facilities Director

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

- About 4–5 years’ experience in maintenance/building engineering

- Should possess FDNY certs like NYC Refrigeration, (Q-01), P-99, S-12, S-13, S-14

- Ability to respond to site emergencies, as needed

- Proximity to the client is highly preferred- (Lower part of Manhattan)
