Role Description
Scala Developer with AWS Expertise
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Scala Developer with a strong background in AWS services to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Scala 3, building and maintaining applications that interface with various AWS services. This role will also involve creating and optimizing AWS Lambda functions using Scala or Python.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Scala Development:
o Design, develop, and maintain applications using Scala 3.
o Write clean, efficient, and scalable vanilla Scala code to interface with AWS services.
2. AWS Integration:
o Leverage AWS SDKs and APIs to build robust integrations with AWS services.
o Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and management of cloud-based solutions.
3. Lambda Function Development:
o Build and maintain AWS Lambda functions using Scala and Python.
o Optimize Lambda functions for performance and cost-efficiency.
4. Collaboration and Documentation:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
o Document code and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Skills & Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience with Scala 3 and strong proficiency in vanilla Scala programming.
• Solid understanding of AWS services and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience developing AWS Lambda functions in both Scala and Python.
• Familiarity with cloud-native application design and development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications: it’s a Plus to have-
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices design
