Senior Project Manager - Federal Construction

Join a General Contractor located in Maryland, right outside DC, that specializes in high-quality construction projects for the federal government. They are a highly experienced construction company specializing in design-build services for federal agencies and corporations. They are known for their commitment to customer satisfaction, innovative construction methodologies, and ability to work in both secured and unsecured facilities.


Your new role

  • Oversee 3–5 projects at a time
  • Project size ranges between $2-20 million.
  • Oversee APMs, Subcontractors and Superintendents
  • Participate in Bids, Estimating, Site walks, Scopes, and Scheduling
  • Be the Lead position on projects, meetings, precon and design
  • Work directly with the Design Team and Engineers on the design of the project
  • Ensure smooth daily communication with clients
  • Manage risks and ensure project success
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations


What you'll need to succeed

  • Engineering or Construction Management Degree (REQUIRED)
  • PMP and DBIA OR 20 years of experience in Design Build (REQUIRED)
  • Clearance for government work (NAFTC, GSA, PD12, etc.) (REQUIRED)
  • Proven experience in managing base build projects
  • Ability to manage your own projects
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations and compliance requirements.
