Our client is seeking an ERP Functional Analyst in Orlando, FL.
Role Description
Job Responsibilities –
This Functional Analyst is an integral, strategic partner that can navigate complex, variable business conditions, guide business customers from requirements gathering through product release, & balance requirements with ServiceNow best practices. This role requires a self-motivated candidate that is able to manage their work independently and use critical and analytical thinking to help ensure successful product delivery.
• Serve as technology and process functional expert for ServiceNow modules.
• Gather business requirements for implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow features, functionality, & products.
• Write clear & concise user stories with the appropriate level of detail and acceptance criteria.
• Work with customers to create and refine any necessary business process flows.
• Partner with project manager(s) to ensure adherence to project schedule.
• Interact with ServiceNow user groups to understand and document the current process and requirements
• Manage workload to prioritize and adhere to planned and communicated project delivery dates.
• Document and create current process flow based on business requirements.
• Perform gap analysis to determine the required ServiceNow system setup and configuration.
• Partner with team to facilitate creation of business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents, and implementation documentation as necessary.
• Work with the ServiceNow development, Solution Engineering, & product teams to create and refine stories from business requirements.
• Create clear, succinct, & testable acceptance criteria for quality assurance teams to create automated and manual test cases for each story.
• Collaborate with development & QA teams to facilitate and resolve issue resolution.
• Lead and coordinate the UAT process with business stakeholders and coordinate any needed changes.
• Partner with engineering team to assist with documenting reported issues from end-users post-release.
• Work with business customers, developers, and internal & vendor support teams to research, document, and resolve the reported issues.
• Review, analyze, and create the specifications for any enhancement requests.
• Test, verify, and approve the results of the implemented solutions and enhancements.
• Partner with project manager and engineering team to plan releases and ensure all necessary sign-off has been provided by necessary stakeholders.
Skills & Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as an ERP Functional Analyst in fast-paced, highly complex, enterprise environment, with a focus on the ability to gather and analyze requirements
• Must possess experience with software deployment and/or implementation
• Must possess strong experience writing User-Stories
o Should be writing 25+ stories per month at a minimum (Disney BA’s write 200-300 per month)
o Write clear & concise user stories with the appropriate level of detail and acceptance criteria
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Must understand/have experience in Agile development & workflows
- Experience with ServiceNow deployment/implementations.
