Hays are seeking a skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee senior living construction projects in Raleigh. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the unique requirements of senior living facilities and a proven ability to lead construction teams to successful project completion.

Your new role

  • Manage all aspects of senior living construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timeliness.
  • Oversee on-site operations, including scheduling, progress tracking, and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to meet project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address challenges as they arise.
  • Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate project resources effectively to achieve project milestones within budget.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and resolve any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including logs, schedules, and reports.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, with a focus on senior living or similar projects.
  • Strong understanding of the specific needs and regulations related to senior living facilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction project management software and tools.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency on all projects.
  • Valid driver’s license.
