We are looking for an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead and manage commercial construction projects in Raleigh, NC. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing all aspects of construction site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Your new role
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to achieve project goals.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying and resolving any potential delays.
- Monitor construction progress and enforce compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper installation and integration of building systems.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and logs.
- Promote a positive work environment and uphold company standards and values.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with construction project management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license.
