I am partnered with one of the largest RE firms headquartered here in NYC, managing a very diverse portfolio of commercial and residential assets nationally valued at over $60 billion. They have a construction pipeline including a multi-billion mega-project in Queens, a $650M tower off Madison Ave and are involved in some of the highest-profile developments across the city.

Your new role

They are looking for a Head of MEP Design & Construction to lead their specialist division internally as part of their Design & Construction division. You will directly manage a team of 5 across all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing scope for a variety of ongoing projects at any one time.

You will be well-versed in core & shell, out-of-the-ground construction, including high-rise developments and have a full understanding of both pre-construction and field supervision specific to MEPS trades and be an expert in this field.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role, you will come from either an electrical or mechanical discipline and hold either a construction or engineering-related degree, with 15+ years’ experience working with both general contractors, owners /developers or from the consulting side specializing across MEPS trades. The successful individual will have managerial experience and have led teams through a variety of project types and will not be phased tackling projects valued in excess of $500M.
