They have recently closed a deal to build a 400 unit, 6-story multifamily wrap project, and they are in the market for a mid-level Superintendent to join the construction project team in San Jose, California. This project will be breaking ground in the next month, making this a career-enhancing opportunity to join a premier developer builder on this 3 phase project in San Jose.

Your new role

As a Project Superintendent for this new construction, your role will be to support the Lead Superintendent and Senior Project Manager to manage the site works and utilities phase of the project transitioning to the vertical scope over the coming months. Your initial key task will be to manage the field operations of multiple subcontractors focused on the civil works and concrete scopes of work. You will support the Lead Superintendent and the field team in achieving key schedule and budget milestones.

What you'll need to succeed

This position requires at least 5–8 years of solid construction experience with the last 5 focused on Multifamily or Ground-up commercial projects. To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical knowledge of the construction process, be proficient at reading plans and have strong communication skills to work effectively with your subcontractors and project team. Experience using software tools like Procore or PlanGrid is also highly attractive.
