They are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Director to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Provide safety training and education for employees and subcontractors.
  • Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in safety practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a safety management role within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in safety management software and tools.
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or similar certification is preferred.
