Salary: $140k - $160k

Your New Role
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for mechanical engineering projects. This role is designed for an experienced and technically skilled professional who is focused on quality reviews and is comfortable stamping documents. You will set aside project loads from day-to-day tasks to review, teach, mentor, and critique, providing technical mentorship without the need for management or client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of mechanical engineering projects.
• Generate reports on reviewed projects, including approvals, changes made, and reasons for those changes.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, ensuring high standards are maintained.
• Stamp documents and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Participate in field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports.
• Work closely with teams across various offices to maintain consistency and quality in project execution.

• PE licensed Engineer in New York State.
• 15–20 years of experience in MEP engineering.
• Extensive experience in QA/QC processes and quality reviews.
• Strong technical proficiency and expertise in mechanical engineering.
• Ability to prepare red-line markups for CAD personnel.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as required.
