Our client is seeking a Digital Designer for a remote opportunity.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional team of product, tech, researchers, and other designers to balance customer needs and business requirements to ensure we’re delivering customer-centered experiences
Design transactional B2B user experiences from information architecture, journey maps, wireframes through brand-compliant production-ready prototypes
Devise new scalable solutions for dashboards, navigation, tables, forms and data visualizations
Create concepts, scenarios and clickable prototypes to test and validate design assumptions and hypotheses
Create production-ready design assets for handoff to UI developers
Perform design quality assurance during development
Ensure that designs and code are usable and accessible to all users
Use data and customer feedback to measure the effectiveness of designs

Skills & Requirements

Core required skills:
Responsive and adaptive web design skills
Experience with B2B interaction design

Required:
3-5 years experience designing responsive web applications
Direct experience designing, building and shipping quality B2B products
Skilled in user experience fundamentals, such as research, wire framing, creating clickable prototypes, and validating designs
Strong experience in user interface design, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and visualizing data
Experience rooting out alternative scenarios from provided requirements, seeing where customers might need extra support or errors might occur
Experience thinking about customer experiences end-to-end and across communications channels
Proficient working with established design systems
Expert with Figma
A team player who collaborates well with multi-disciplined teams, skilled at giving and receiving design critique and able to be self-directed.
Experience successfully partnering and building alignment with product managers, developers, business analysts, content strategists, design researchers and other designers to arrive at optimal solutions
Strong communication skills with ability to articulate and optimize design based on the value to the user and the business
Experience working with Lean UX and Agile methods
Ability to navigate complexity and make sense of ambiguity
Ability to manage competing priorities and timelines
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment, while also owning initiatives
Experience working in a company with a strong brand presence, and either developing a design system or working successfully within one

Preferred:
Design experience within large corporation is a plus
Experience managing design systems a plus
Service Design experience a plus
UI development skills with HTML, CSS, and Javascript are pluses
