Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager with specific expertise in managing NYCHA projects with tenants in place. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while minimizing disruption to tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, with a focus on tenant-in-place scenarios.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize disruption to tenants during construction.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and clients.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on tenant-in-place projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience of developing and implementing tenant communication plans.
