• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for K-12 construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior estimators to develop accurate and competitive bids.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software.
• Assist in negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms.
• Support the project team in monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction phase.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.

• 2–3 years of experience in construction estimating, specifically with K-12 projects.
• Familiarity with Job Order Contracting (JOC) processes and procedures.
• Strong plan, reading skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
