My client is a well-established construction firm specializing in commercial and residential projects. Their commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork sets us apart in the industry. They are seeking an HR Assistant to join their team and contribute to the company’s continued success.

As an HR Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the HR team ensuring smooth HR Operations. You’ll collaborate with project managers, field staff, and office personnel. If you’re passionate about people, compliance, and creating a positive work environment, this role is perfect for you.


Your new role

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Director and the wider HR team.
  • Update and maintain accurate employee files and records in the HRIS, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including scheduling interviews, onboarding candidates, and updating new hire information.
  • Support the college recruiting and internship program.
  • Plan and execute special events, such as training sessions, social events, and well-being activities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Completion of, or progress towards, an HR certificate is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar administrative support role.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
