Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent Opportunity! - Boston

Hays is partnering with a leading Civil and Utilities GC/CM in Boston servicing the New England Area (MA, RI, NH), who is looking to add a Heavy Civil Superintendent to their team.

Your new role

As a Civil Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects related to utilities and sewer systems. Your responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating the work of subcontractors, ensuring project quality, safety, and adherence to schedules and budgets.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of utility installation and/or heavy highway construction experience.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction techniques, means, and methods.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Organization: Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Sense of Urgency: Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

  • Certifications: OSHA safety training preferred.
