Our client is seeking a Engineer 2 – Security System Admin/Engineer in Seattle, WA.

Role Description
The Store Hardware Platforms team vision is to be at the forefront of retail hardware technology and to deliver the tools our employees need before they need them. We do this by building hardware integrations into the provide best in class customer experiences. This team supports a wide variety of devices from point-of-sale registers, payment terminals, mobile devices, and a variety of printers.
We are focused on new hardware strategy implementations, hardware integration process engineering, device management, hardware security as well as providing our End User Support teams with critical documentation & processes to support hardware in a retail store environment.
The nature of the work on the Store Hardware Platform team is very hands on in lab and local store environments. As a result, we will need someone in Seattle (or surrounding area) who can work on a hybrid model with most days in the Seattle office.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective working relationships with partner teams. Engage in regular touchpoints to support an ongoing feedback loop for ways to solve security findings.
• Analysis: Review and analyze security findings and vulnerabilities. Identify and document recommended solutions and deployment process.
• Release Management: Plan, coordinate, communicate, and report on status of lab and production releases. As well as maintain, enhance, develop related telemetry to provide insight to deployments.
• Technical Support: Support testing with ability to troubleshoot errors. This requires in-person support in the Seattle Lab

Skills & Requirements

• 4+ Years of experience in security, deployment, and incident response activity roles.
• 4+ Years of experience with supporting Windows environment (pref Windows 10, 16)
• Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager.
• Experience with Active directory and group policy.
• Able to write scripts/code using PowerShell, Python.
• Ability to successfully prioritize, execute, and deliver independently with minimal supervision.
• Solid communication skills both written and verbal.
• Flexible to provide support and troubleshoot during overnight deployments.
• Familiarity with basic Networking operation and services (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN)
• Familiarity with retail point of sale hardware environments.
• Experience with Android Operating Systems.
• Experience with Splunk and Qualys.
• Familiarity with tools Onspring, New relic is a plus.
• Experience with cloud AWS/Azure is a plus.
• Knowledge of Mobile Device Management solutions.
