Key Responsibilities- Efficiently manage a multi-state biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee payroll deductions, garnishments, earnings, and accruals, conducting thorough audits and verifications.
- Prepare and submit required tax documents, ensuring full compliance.
- Generate reports to support the finance general ledger related to payroll and benefits.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies as needed.
- Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, Section 125 plans, 401(k), life and disability plans, workers' compensation, and COBRA. Handle plan renewals, reporting, and communication.
- Manage employee benefit plans, including new hire enrollments, benefit changes, and terminations in ADP or other benefit platforms.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding and present benefits information to ensure understanding of plans and enrollment processes.
- Assist the HR team with additional projects as needed.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Proficiency with ADP or similar payroll systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with employees and management.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
