Our client is seeking a Developer in Charlotte, NC.

Role Description

Developer: Python developer with react front-end and Python backend experience, you will be responsible for developing and helping maintain our AWS hosted web application. Collaborate with data modelers, analysts, and business users to ensure ongoing development with different product teams.

Responsibilities:

· Adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and frameworks as needed for projects.
· Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
· Develop and maintain web applications using React and Python.
· Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
· Optimize applications and code for speed and scalability.
· Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance.
· Participate in code reviews and contribute to teams’ best practices.
· Document data ownership and establish integrations with enterprise data repositories.

Skills & Requirements

Skills & Experience:

· Proven experience of a python developer with 5+ years in an enterprise environment.
· Solid understanding of OOP principles, experience using common libraries for data manipulation (pandas, NumPy, datetime, regex functions).
· 2+ years of front-end development with experience in React, JS, HTLM, and CSS.
· 1+ years of experience in SQL Server writing basic queries and executing SP’s.
· Knowledge of version control systems ( e.g. Git we use Bitbucket, GitLab)
· Experience in creating comprehensive documentation using systems like Confluence and bug tracking software like Jira.
· Proficient in using testing frameworks (unittest, pytest, Jest) to ensure code quality and maintainability.
· Desirable: Hands-on experience with AWS, AZURE, or other cloud providers. Experience with databricks, adf, glue, ETL’s, and ELT’s
· Demonstrated ability to work inclusively, communicate effectively, and collaborate within a team, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment.
