Senior Estimator / Director of Estimating job with a well-known GC in Maryland

Your new role

They are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Estimator or Director of Estimating to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leading the bid process for hard bids, preparing GMPs, ensuring comprehensive coverage for teams, and pricing projects for both local and out-of-state work. Key responsibilities:

Lead and manage the estimating department to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions.
Develop and prepare GMPs, ensuring cost-effective and competitive pricing.
Collaborate closely with project teams to cover all aspects of estimating and bidding.
Oversee pricing strategies for local and out-of-state projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the estimating department.


What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong track record in managing and leading estimating teams.
Experience working in mission-critical work is a plus.
Excellent understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation.
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to collaboration and continuous learning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
