This Manhattan-based engineering firm has a team of leading experts who are passionate about helping clients streamline their building management systems by maximizing energy efficiency and lowering energy costs. Seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of Building Management System projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project management, and BMS technologies.

Your new role

  • Project Planning:
    Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Team Management:
    Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Budget Management:
    Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Client Communication:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Technical Oversight:
    Ensure all BMS installations and integrations meet technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Risk Management:
    Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final project reports.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in BMS project management or a similar role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of BMS technologies and systems.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in project management software
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
