Marine Project Manager

Job Title: Marine Project Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Marine Project Manager to oversee and manage a variety of maritime and civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in managing projects such as port facilities, wharves, liquid cargo terminals, bridges and causeways, container terminals, cruise terminals, bulkheads, docks, piers, and marinas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage marine and civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of marine structures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
  • Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor project team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in marine and civil project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime and civil engineering principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with port facilities, wharves, liquid cargo terminals, bridges and causeways, container terminals, cruise terminals, bulkheads, docks, piers, and marinas.
  • Familiarity with Houston’s maritime infrastructure and regulations.
