Job Title: Marine Project Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Marine Project Manager to oversee and manage a variety of maritime and civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in managing projects such as port facilities, wharves, liquid cargo terminals, bridges and causeways, container terminals, cruise terminals, bulkheads, docks, piers, and marinas.
We are seeking an experienced Marine Project Manager to oversee and manage a variety of maritime and civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in managing projects such as port facilities, wharves, liquid cargo terminals, bridges and causeways, container terminals, cruise terminals, bulkheads, docks, piers, and marinas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage marine and civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of marine structures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Supervise and mentor project team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in marine and civil project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of maritime and civil engineering principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with port facilities, wharves, liquid cargo terminals, bridges and causeways, container terminals, cruise terminals, bulkheads, docks, piers, and marinas.
- Familiarity with Houston’s maritime infrastructure and regulations.
