Our client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Miramar, FL.

Role Description

Responsible for supporting Global senior marketing leadership via producing strategic insights, reports, and strategic projects, serving the company brands (Oceania and Regent). Provide company decision makers with KPIs and assessments to drive growth, launch new tracking capabilities, and support marketing leadership in cost optimization.

This individual will work closely with our team of software developers, QA, support, and operations personnel to ensure our systems are robust, efficient, and secure. You must have a strong understanding of networking, including switching, routing, subnetting, and transport layer protocols. Familiarity with the networking aspect of AWS cloud services is desirable for this role, as you will be expected to support VPC networking and site-to-site VPNs. This role demands hands-on expertise with hypervisors such as ESXi, KVM, and Proxmox, as well as a thorough understanding of computer hardware, and operating systems.

Additionally, you will be expected to follow, update, and create technical documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy in all systems processes and protocols. This role will require travel including visits to customer sites as needed. Due to frequent travel being a requirement of this role, you must maintain an active passport, driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance.

Skills & Requirements

• 7+ years of Network Engineering / Infrastructure Engineering in enterprise environment(s)
• Must possess very strong experience and proficiency across OSI layers (e.g. deep understanding of TLS, DHCP, DNS, TCP, etc.)
• Must possess strong experience and proficiency w/ VPN Configuration inclusive of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) integration
• Must possess strong experience and proficiency w/ Linux systems to include:
o strong knowledge of SSHS + SFTP
o strong knowledge + experience w/ Linux Command Prompt
o strong knowledge + experience w/ Red Hat
• Must possess strong experience and proficiency automating workflows with PowerShell, Bash and Python scripts
• Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls and SD-WAN solutions to include the following:
o proficiency w/ Port forwarding solutions
o proficiency w/ white list configuration within firewalls
o proficiency w/ VPN access configuration
o proficiency w/ testing + verifying SD WAN solution is functional
o proficiency w/ shallow packet inspection within SD WAN
• Familiarity with invoking REST APIs leveraging one or more of the following tools: Curl, Postman or Swagger
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline highly preferred
• Strong Windows OS experience and proficiency (inclusive of proficiency w/ Windows Command Prompt).
