The role:
Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Superintendent to oversee the construction of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for quality and safety. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing on-site activities, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.


Responsibilities
  • Managing all site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Coordinating and supervising all construction activities, directing on-site personnel, and dealing with any issues that may arise.
  • Ensuring project timelines are met, identifying and addressing any potential delays.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures, fostering a safe work environment.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction specialists.
  • Resolving any problems, discrepancies, or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with the project team, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company standards, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on retail, commercial interiors, QSR, banks, or luxury restaurants.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or LEED are a plus.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
