Our client is seeking a .NET Developer in Atlanta, GA.
Role Description
We are looking for a talented Senior .NET Developer to join our team and enhance the capabilities of NetSQLAzMan, an open-source authorization management tool built on the .NET Framework. The customer has the source code and seeks to enhance security controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze, design, and implement new features and enhancements to NetSQLAzMan.
• Improve the existing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system with more granular permissions and hierarchical roles.
• Implement detailed audit logging to track changes in authorizations, roles, and user activities.
• Enhance the user interface to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.
• Integrate NetSQLAzMan with other identity providers such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, or LDAP.
• Develop robust APIs for managing roles, permissions, and users.
• Create reporting and analytics features to provide insights into authorization data.
• Optimize the performance of the application for large datasets and high-traffic environments.
• Implement additional security features such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and encryption of sensitive data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in .NET development, including C# and ASP.NET.
• Understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and authorization management.
• Some experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Familiarity with identity providers such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with the client on enhancements on NetSQLAzMan
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with open-source projects and contributing to GitHub repositories.
• Knowledge of audit logging and security compliance.
• Familiarity with localization and internationalization practices.
• Experience with mobile development and responsive design.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques.
